Vaughn Newman

Vaughn Newman was born in Pennsylvania, where he began dancing at William Penn Arts Charter. He continued his formal dance training at Freedom Theater, Philadelphia Dance Company, and New World School of the Arts.

Established in 2018, The Studio – Home of Vaughn Newman Dance (VND) opened its’ doors to offer professional dance instruction to Upstate SC. Vaughn Newman Dance Outreach programs narrow a cultural divide through various arts programs. ADAM (Acting | Dance | Art | Music) Arts, a program designed for under-served youth, allows for an interactive visual and performing arts experience.

The Mission of Vaughn Newman Dance is as follows: Vaughn Newman Dance exists to bring soul-stirring and earth-shaking dance to its’ communities and abroad.  We are living poetry speaking to the human condition.  We bridge gaps in human consciousness and diversity through dance, provoking social awareness for one’s spirit and evolving communities.
